One of my favourite lines
From Courage, the cowardly dog.
I used to watch that cartoon
When I was kid, sometime at noon
And wouldn't get half of it.
Those weird stories with lessons behind them
And all the extents to which a woman or a man
Can and should go
For the ones they love.
Those demons were inside,
We're all in the middle of nowhere,
There's always a Muriel,
But also an Eustace Bagge.
"Things I do for love"
Is something we should all hear
And say more often, purely, simply, mere,
Because it's all about what love does
To us.
