She entered the room
And she heard how it locked.
That's when she knew she was there for the key.
How stupid, right?
To be in a place
You really don't want to be
In search of a stupid key
You wouldn't need in the first place,
Had you not got locked out in that place...
But, hey, that's how things work,
You can't know life's every single perk.
So while she was there, she kept stumbling on her own words,
They had this weird forms,
Some were cute and would make her feel nice,
But then behind them, big monsters would hide...
She was able to face some, but some would still hurt,
They'd be memories or thoughts, facts or things untold...
After hours and hours that felt lifetime long,
In the darkest of corners, a little shiny thing stood,
There was the key, but it didn't make her happy,
'Cause she realised where she'd been,
And that all those things that she'd seen,
Especially those that weren't kind,
They were all in a room inside her mind...
