What did we learn from history?

Nothing.

Look at us today, do you feel UNITED?

What happens in this country is just mockery!

It’s crushing.

If we could all stop being so frightened,

Frightened of losing that false sense of comfort,

Frightened of losing that false sense of liberty,

Frightened of thinking about others as well,

Frightened of getting out of our stupid shell.

Frightened to stand our ground and to confront,

Frightened of changing this morbidity…

We owe it to the past, to all those deaths and those victories,

To all the true leaders and the dreams CHANGE would bring,

We owe it to the present, to all the plans no one starts or finishes,

To that light inside that keeps reminding something’s wrong and makes our hearts sting…

We owe it to the future, simply IF WE WANT ONE.
