When you went visiting the beast

You knew that it was nothing but a beast,

You knew you should expect the least.

When you went visiting the beast,

You had your reading glasses on

And read the sign “Don’t feed the beast!”

When you went visiting the beast

You knew, you stupid little person,

You never play with a beast when it’s lonesome!

When you went visiting the beast

And lured it from its darkened shelter

Were you not expecting a crimson feast?

Why you went visiting the beast?

Had you not priorly been warned?

Why didn’t you ever listen to the world?

When you went visiting the beast,

You read the sign “Don’t feed the beast”!
